Welp, looks like Türkiye is looking at acquiring Eurofighter Typhoons instead of F-35s. At this rate, Trump's reputational damage—self-inflicted by attacking his allies and cutting Ukraine off at the knees—is going to take down the US military export industry. Nobody wants to build their armed services around weapons bought from a supplier who couid decide to disable them on a whim.

@cstross not only them, Portugal and Germany also started to reconsidering their #f35 deal. We should buy it in Czechia too. So far our gov stick to the deal, but voices against are rasing. And yes, why should we buy system which can be grounded by decision of #crazy #egomaniac in #whitehouse ? Its better to buy #eu solution even though its not so sophisticated.
Not an expert by any means but let's also look if equipment from or by South Korea and Japan can be of interest.
I remembered that Poland had ordered some tanks and stuff from SK and that SK manufacturers will (or have started?) build(ing) factories in Poland for some of their military equipment.
